- Power switch. Every camera has one. Flip it and it is off.
- Hole Cam data SIM. Cancel it, or suspend it where the carrier allows, and the monthly cost drops to $0. Check the carrier's suspend rules first. Check the pause fee in the plan table: one vendor keeps charging $1 a month on a paused SIM.
- Edge Cams. They cost nothing to leave off, and nothing to leave on.
- App sleep schedule. Confirming with the factory.

Video data rates
Gigabytes a month = (clips a day × clip seconds + live minutes a day × 60) × rate ÷ 8 ÷ 1,000 × days on.

Prices read from each vendor's own page on the date shown in the table. Plans change; confirm before you buy. The estimator picks the cheapest plan that fits each Hole Cam's data from the plans meant for devices. A phone plan that may not allow a camera is shown only as another option.
